Consultation

An initial meeting in person or virtually to discuss how to best use your garden space including perennial flower beds, vegetable and fruit gardens or a focus on native plants. We can conduct a light/shade assessment and soil testing.
Coaching

In person, side-by-side work in your garden. Sighting plants, guided nursery trips, planting, weeding, identifying plant disease, harvesting, etc. The frequency and scheduling of visits depends on how often you want to garden together.
Design

Recommendations based on your goals. This plan includes a plant list and an estimate for turning the design into reality. This process is collaborative, based on your availability/desire to participate in the garden installation.
Seasonal Containers

We can teach you how to design and create container plantings for all seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. Or we can do it for you!

FAQs

Consultation and design fees are $150/hour. Coaching sessions are $95/hour.
Each consulation is different depending on the owners needs, space, and driving distance. On average a consultation takes 1 - 2 hours.
Each gardener and garden is different. Coaching sessions are designed to help you identify your goals and how to meet them. A short session can be 1 - 2 hours long. Bigger projects, such as installing raised beds, could take 10 -12 hours, taking place over the course of several days. We also offer guided nursery trips so you can learn how to choose healthy plants for the right conditions. If you have concerns about lifting heavy items, crawling on the ground or having the endurance to complete a project, no worries! We can help.
The frequency of sessions depends on several variables, such as your goals, your budget, the time of year, how high or low maintenance your garden is, etc. We will work together to assess your needs. Vegetable gardens need regular attention to thrive. If you do not have the time in your schedule to tend to your garden we can help! We are always here for you and your garden in case you travel or need a break from gardening.
